Peach palette look

Hello, hello, beautiful people,

I recently did a Boozyshop unboxing and as I mentioned in that post, I ordered the I Heart Makeup Chocolate and Peaches palette. I fell in love with this palette from the moment I swatched it but hadn’t got the chance to actually try it out on my eyelids until now. I can say that I’m very much in love with this look. I do regret not wearing lashes but it’s so hot here in Belgium so I really didn’t feel like going into the struggle. But let’s just get into the look.

As always, I started with my eyes. I used the Essence 2in1 eyeshadow & base as my primer and set it with the shadow Satisfy from the palette. As my transition shade in my crease, I used the shadow called Fine. To darken the outer corner and crease I used the shade Taste but because I felt it wasn’t dark enough, I used the shadow called Nice in the outer corner of my eyelid. On my eyelid I used the shadow Peach, which is probably my favourite shade of the palette and it made this eye look. I used Delicious as my brow bone highlighter and Sweet as my inner corner highlighter. I am absolutely in love with this eye makeup! I used the Essence black eye pencil in my upper waterline and lash line, which I blended with a pencil brush to give myself a smoky looking winged liner.

For my face, I went in with a bunch of primers. I started with my favourite priming and setting spray from Essence called the Instant Matt spray. I sprayed this on my face and padded it in and used a piece of paper to fan my face until it was dry. I than used the Catrice Beautifying primer on my cheeks and the 2Be primer on my t-zone to make sure my makeup would stay all day. To conceal before my foundation, I used the Primark concealer stick and blended this with a sponge. Because it was such a hot day, I  used my favourite foundation mixture: the Rimmel Match foundation and the Catrice BB cream. Both of them hold SPF and are very light and stay very well. For blemishes I used my Catrice Liquid Camouflage and for under eyes I used the Light-Reflecting concealer which is also by Catrice. To set my t-zone I used my Loos Translucent powder from Catrice and the Rest of my Face I set with the Rimmel Stay Matt powder.

To colour in my brows I used a waterproof brow pencil from Catrice, because like I said, it was really warm and I didn’t want my brows to run off my face. To set I used the clear brow gel from Catrice. I applied the Berry Merry Long-lasting eye pencil from Essence on my lower lash line and I used the Maybelline One By One volume mascara on the lower lashes. on my upper lashes I used the Catrice Waterproof Rock Couture mascara. Because the stopper of this one doesn’t work, I but the spooly in the Maybelline mascara and this got rid of all the excess mascara which was on their. Great tip if you have the same problem with this mascara as I do.

Because of the very hot weather, I didn’t want to go heavy with my contour so I just used the contour shade from the Rimmel Contour palette to bronze up my cheeks, forehead and jawline. I used the blushes to give my cheeks some colour and the highlighter I used on my cupids bow, above my brows and my cheekbones to give me some glow. For lips I went with a very warm toned Lingerie Lipstick from Nyx called 04 Ruffle Trim. To set my face I used the same Matte spray from Essence, waited until it was dry and sprayed on some Evian to refresh my face a bit and make it look less powdery.

That’s it for this one, I hope you enjoyed. If you have any question, tips or tricks, let me know in the comments. Thank you for reading and until the next one.

Lots of love,

Vero.
